Today, October 10th 2013, it was officially announced that Jennifer Lawrence will be the new face of Dior, thereby replacing Mila Kunis. The 22 year old Hunger Games star, though new to this fashion biz craze, seems to be doing pretty good for herself considering. As the new face of the Lady Dior Bag, Jennifer Lawrence will star in the brand’s campaign in March 2013, thus joining Dior’s history of ambassador beauties – Mila Kunis, Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman, Marion Cotillard.

Was it that red carpet Dior couture moment at Toronto Film Festival, promoting her new flick “The Silver Linings Playbook“, that might have placed Jennifer Lawrence on top of Dior’s list? Or was she already given the part by then and she was just doing her job? You know… looking fab in couture dresses at film premiers! Whatever the case, we salute both parties for an amazing choice and applaud Dior for sticking up with classy talented ladies that look the part.

She stunned on the red carpet in Dior and looked the part in Paris at the designer’s Couture Show in front row, in a red flowery dress. Excited, honored, elegant, young and classic she will sure make a great Dior ambassador for the Lady Dior Bag Campaign 2013!

Mila Kunis was the face of Dior for a really short period of time. Wonder if Jennifer will be longer.
yeah i think she was for about 2 years. we’ll see about jennifer, To be honest with u, i was a bit surprised with the choice. I like her, don’t get me wrong, just never thought of her as an ad/designer face girl. She’s gonna do great, i’m sure, but like u said, we’ll see how long. xx
I saw this and to be honest while I think she is lovely I feel like I’d want to her to be more of an established actress before getting this gig…does that make sense? I guess I’m not their target audience but personally she doesn’t attract me to their product.

She is beautiful & talented but like you said, so new, unestablished, not really what i would have gone for either, but hey. We’ll see how it goes. It’s weird though cause so many people seem to think the same, and you feel kinda bad cause she seems so lovely and kind. Thanks caroline:) xox

She’s pretty, fresh and I’m really happy for her. But honestly, I’m not sure if she makes Dior appealing for me.
Hunger Games star and classic Dior doesn’t really mesh well in my head.
I think that Natalie Portman was “THE dior girl”. She was the best, in my opinion.
