What If Everyone Had Access To OUTDOOR Advertising?

tumblr_nbspbxkN5g1qckng3o1_500Before you go all ‘Who needs outdoor advertising when we’ve got social media’ on me right now (which is not far from the truth actually), think about one major thing Location, Location, Location. What if any of us could put our blogs’ logo, name and pics on a bus, like any Hollywood figure with a talk show or any film does for advertising? What if we could afford it?

When 2 weeks ago I was contacted by a Los Angles company called ZEUSVISION about this form of advertising and sharing it with you, my readers, I must say I too was a tad skeptical. I mean seriously how could my blog for instance get inventory on a bus in Santa Monica, right? But then, after chatting with them and having a look at how they want to revolutionize the outdoor advertising for basically anyone who’s got something to say, or wants to share big news or congrats on a life event, party, graduation, wedding proposal, or just to advertise their small business, I got to thinking – this is actually a pretty great thing. Not to mention very very affordable, with prices starting at $99.00. For your tagline, logo, photos, personal announcements, messages, congratulations being posted on buses. zeusvision-buses-advertisingHere’s how it works. Think of Zeusvision as a huge iPhone on wheels that can position itself wherever the client desires, delivering customized multimedia messages and experiences for as little as $99.

Now picture IT for our blogs! For example: We’ve been blogging for over 1 year, have a great audience, but would nonetheless want to share our voice or style with more people. OR we might consider a face-lift for our blog: new website, new logo, new posts, fresh content etc., OR we’re doing a campaign, or a giveaway for our readers, or a shopping spree of our products… or we just want to thank our readers for being the best, and we want to get the word out in a location we know they’re at, or where we’d love to increase our audience.

How do we do this? We go to our computers, download a graphics template from the Zeusvision website and make a graphic with our pictures/logo/tagline/message on it announcing our blog’s campaign, new look, event, anniversary etc.. Next we upload the image and schedule the time we want it to play. Because Zeusvision buses have a route with fixed times and geolocating ads, we schedule it to play on a specific street at say 12:00 noon when young women, girls and boys are out on their lunch breaks for examples. As Zeusvision approaches the location we receive a text alerting us that our Zeusvision bus is only 5 minutes away. This is an example of messaging technology being used to increase the quality of our blogs, or small business. zeusvision-buses-advertising (4)When can we do this? Zeusvision campaign starts today – 27th October 2014! To celebrate their vision of “giving the people their voice back,” Zeusvision is giving away free tickets to the 2015 Zeusvision Music Festival for all of the customers that support the Zeusvision Public launch campaign starting today (27th of October). You can find out more by going to their website here: ZEUSVISIONzeusvision-buses-advertising (3)Sure we’ve got the social media campaigns all figured out and post constantly on FB, Twitter, Instaram and what not, but what if, at a certain point we’d like to take it up a notch. Sort of like when Carrie Bradshaw from SATC had her photo and column’s name spread on a bus in NYC? Well… this to me sounds great. It’s a new tool,  new means to just get yourself out there, literally, from the comfort of your home. Wanna play your message blog in NYC, or Los Angles, but you don’t live there? No problemo. You can now.

“Our belief at Zeusvision (more than anything) is that people want to be recognized and they want their voice to be heard. This assumption is evidenced by the millions of comments and tweets posted to social media sites and blogs daily, not counting the bloggers themselves.”

No need to beat around the bush here, cause the truth is any of us bloggers would love to wake up one day to a larger reading audience, or more people loving our style or voice. And if it’s this easy, why not do it? While still keeping our social media know-how and campaigns, while posting our outfit pics, writing and sharing our daily experiences with our readers? style-fashion

“Our message is rather simple: The average person or business owner should be able to get their message out to the most influential groups of people, in the most sought after geographic locations.”–Giovanni Wolfgang

Zeusvision’s digital media buses deliver stunning 31 foot video advertising, plus an array of unique features (like GPS, cameras, inertial motion sensors, light sensors, eye tracking, gesture tracking etc.) zeusvision-buses-advertising (2)zeusvision-buses-advertising (5)Personally I applaud their new vision and initiative on outdoor adverting and truly think it’s a great way for us bloggers (and not only) to get more exposure and get our voices and styles introduced to a larger audience. If we wanted to of course. That’s why I thought I’d share all this with you. Besides the idea of you & your small business or passion being advertised on a bus… is not so shabby, is it? 😉 For more check out their website here.

  1. The longing to share and talk about our interest and passions with others has prompted many a communique. With the internet this has become very easy to find and create such sites to build some camaraderie with others of similar interests. Using outdoor ads, like Zuesvision, to publicly introduce an individual’s invention, product, concerns, and passions to see if there is a market of like-minded people or just to present an idea / a point of view for others to consider does sound intriguing. I’m not sure if there is a similar business in this area yet, but it seems like it will be catching on, so I’ll look for possible opportunities to become available or be an entrepreneur for setting it up in this area. Could be quite lucrative and rewarding.
