Here comes another one… FashionTag is yet again covering a red carpet event. Said I’d slow down with them, but what the hell! So last night Hollywood’s most talented and beautiful people gathered and partied at the Critics Choice Awards. Sort of like an Oscars preview? Hmmm yes & no, I mean with Ben Afflek (sigh. He’s so hot) being snubbed by an Oscar nomination, I doubt it. But for him, last night was the night, as he won Best Picture & Best Director with Argo (kudos to the man). Other winners (quite predictable to be honest with you) were: Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway & Daniel Day Lewis.
I know it’s a night for the movies, but we rarely watch these shows without the nasty or great fashion comments, because why not call it like it is, it’s a fashion police raid out there and we’re all about to ramble on best & worst dressed. Plus… for those of us who have to attend events, cocktail parties or weddings… well… red carpet best & worst are the best. Bit of a style & fashion inspiration that comes in handy! Who were my faves: Emily Blunt. Simple, chic, beautiful & effortless in her white tea-length dress! Amazing. Perfect hair & makeup too. Emmy Rossum looked gorgeous as well in a princess like blue sequined dress and Eva Longoria gave glam & sexy a true meaning. Helen Hunt stunned in that pink’ish-red-orange-peach dress and Jamie King was a hot vixen in her black sequined thigh high slit dress. Naomi Watts was simple in black, Marion Cotillard was well… a bit too much in touch with her girly prairie side, but other than that alright. Sally Field – kind of boring but not bad. And Anne Hathaway quite sexy & simple. She made that pretty boring dress look good with her pixie cut, if you ask me.
On the less fab side we find: Elle Fanning (whatever, I know she’s just a kid, but it was a red carpet event. And those shoes. Oh my God). Jennifer Lawrence ditched the grandma look (from People’s Choice Awards) for a more sophisticated one, or so she thought. Love her… but her red carpet style is far from fab. Jessica Chastain looked… well kind of square. We’ll give her a pass just because she looked stunning at all the other events and it’s only human to miss a few times fashion wise. Plus she must be really tired, and who can blame her. Leslie Mann was a big pink candy & Amanda Seyfried so bad. The upper part of her dress was pretty gorgeous, but she totally blew it off with the lower side. That’s it for this red carpet event. Which one was your least and most fave?

Jaime King’s dress is gorgeous, and she looks gorgeous.
I agree with you about the less fab, what were they thinking.
haha! i know:) thanks so great to see i’m not single in my opinions:). And yesss Jamie was gorgeous!!!
