Living in London and working for a fashion magazine does indeed have its advantages and a glam side to it. Posh events. Fashion people. Expensive gifts. Celebrities. Parties. Wednesday 2nd of May it’s The HUB Magazine’s turn to organize such an amazing event. This time all the glitz and glam will be for a noble charity cause – the poor, homeless & abused children of London.
Afternoon Tea Party (May 2nd; 15.00 – 18.00 PM) – The HUB & Kids Company Mad Hatters Silent Auction At The Sanderson Hotel in London. A not-to-be-missed fashion event organized by The HUB’s Publisher and Editor-In-Chief Mr. Tolu Adeko and hosted by The Kids Company. The Courtyard Garden at the Sanderson will be packed with fashion’s creme de la creme, from models, to designers, to fashion stylists, editors-in-chief, celebs, photographers, all sipping on champagne while serving brunch and chit chatting over who’s wearing what and looking best or worst. Did I mention it’s a Mad Hatters Theme – Alice in Wonderland? Not one to be blown away by this fashion craze stuff? No worries. They might all be there to see and be seen but it’s all for a noble cause. Helping the unfortunate kids in London who are subjected to poverty, violence, abuse. The exclusive charity auction will be filled with expensive luxurious products donated by the world’s most famous fashion & jewelry brands and artists – Salvador Dali painting, Tracey Emin print, Prada handbag, Mathew Williamson dress, fabulous wardrobe makeover by fashion stylist Nicole Smallwood, Lamborghini weekend driving experience, Max Mara tote bag, art work by Zoobs, Patrick Hughes and the list goes on… The proceedings will go to Kids Company.
An afternoon of glam and entertainment is promised with an amazing performance from Beverly Knight, opportunity to pop into your favorite model or celebrity, mingle with London’s fashion & art people while helping a good cause!
